Some are bead or pearl necklaces, and others are station necklaces, where beads, stones or other shapes sit at intervals along the chain. Either way, the detail tends to run around the neck rather than hang in one place.
Crystal appears on a good number of them too, often in the shape of cubes. Most are stainless steel or sterling silver, and a few are 9ct gold. Some of the steel pieces are gold-coloured.
