This G-SHOCK watch is a faithful re-creation of the very first model, featuring the original's distinctive brick pattern on the dial. The design is meticulously replicated, from the red, blue, and yellow colour accents to the characteristic dimples on the bio-based resin band.
The updated 42.3 mm case is constructed from stainless steel, with an internal stainless steel module housed beneath the rubber bezel for protection. A screwdown caseback secures the watch, contributing to its renowned shock-resistant structure and its 20-bar water resistance, which is suitable for depths up to 200 metres.
For modern usability, the display is illuminated by a high-brightness LED backlight. The watch is also equipped with practical functions including a stopwatch, a countdown timer, and alarms. This model is manufactured at the Yamagata Casio facility in Japan, ensuring a high standard of production quality.
