Its design is inspired by the 1983 DW-5000C, featuring a distinctive octagonal bezel. The case and bezel are constructed from a combination of carbon and resin, built around a shock-resistant Carbon Core Guard structure for enhanced durability. The watch face is protected by a mineral glass crystal, and the entire timepiece measures 48.5 x 45.4 x 11.8 mm and weighs 51 grams. It is fitted with an interchangeable resin band.

Engineered for performance, the watch has a water resistance of 200 meters. Its timekeeping functions include a world time feature with 31 time zones (48 cities + UTC) and a daylight saving setting. A 1/100-second stopwatch can measure elapsed time, split time, and 1st-2nd place times, while a countdown timer offers a 24-hour range. The watch is also equipped with five daily alarms and an hourly time signal to keep you on schedule.

For visibility in low-light conditions, a white double LED light provides a Super illuminator for the face and a backlight for the digital display, with selectable illumination durations of 1.5 or 3 seconds. A hand shift feature allows the analogue hands to be moved for an unobstructed view of the digital screen. The analogue timekeeping shows the hour, minute, and day, while the digital display shows the hour, minute, second, pm, month, and date. Additional settings include a button operation tone on/off and a 12/24-hour format.

The watch is powered by two SR726W batteries with an approximate life of 3 years and maintains an accuracy of ±15 seconds per month. It also contains a full auto-calendar, pre-programmed to the year 2099, ensuring the date remains accurate without manual adjustment.
